Joshua Lipply was born and raised in a small town called Rootstown in Ohio where he lived his entire life till moving to Akron in the mid 2000’s. Joshua has been involved in music his entire life where from just the young age of 4 he would find his first pair of drumsticks from an older brother’s friend. After this happened as the old expression goes (The Rest Is History). Some of his earliest memories come from before he had his first set of drums to play on or even his first guitar of just sitting with those very sticks banging on house hold items while listening to the radio. By the age of 8 Joshua’s parents now saw his love of music and would buy him his first drum kit. At age 11 now a progressing drummer, Joshua’s parents encouraged Joshua to expand his musicianship and he decided to learn to play guitar also. While during these younger years starting to learn his craft Joshua was an open book to all different styles of music. Listening to current Country and Rock, Joshua also loved to sit down in his parent’s basement and listen to his parents and older brother’s records and cassettes. With this fascination in many different styles and genres of music Joshua would begin his journey of becoming a versatile and accomplished musician.

By the time Joshua reached high school Joshua was involved in all of the music programs his small town school offered and increased his knowledge of music and the theory behind it. These skills would let Joshua become very versatile and learn multiple different instruments. Shortly after graduating high school Joshua would find his way into the local music scene. During these next year’s Joshua would play with many different people and groups and start to learn about the business side of it. It was for only a short break in the late 2000’s Joshua was not actively playing in a group of some sort. It was at this time he would return to school for his degrees and build a solid base for life while he chased his dreams. Over the years playing many different genres of music from Rock to Heavy Metal to R&B to Jazz and now with Relentless Country, Joshua has been able to play shows alongside many national acts in many different states and venues.
